This could be a Philadelphia Eagles replacement for Alshon Jeffery and ‘JJAW’.

Okay, these guys don’t play in the ACC, but it’s hard to imagine any scenario where Ja’Marr Chase or DeVonta Smith wind up in Eagles jerseys. They’re probably the two best wide receivers in the country, and whether it’s because the ‘Birds’ address another need early or these two simply aren’t available when Philly’s on the clock in Round 1, the chances of seeing either guy in Eagles green is slim to none.

Enter Tamorrion Terry of the Florida State Seminoles. He’s everything the NFL, its scouts, and its fans love. He’s six-foot-four and over 200 pounds. He can also run. Most draft pundits are probably going to place him on their lists of the top ten wide receivers in the nation and that’s about right, but 2020 hasn’t gotten off to a great start for a young man that most expected to run wild in the ACC and turn a few heads.

Terry may not be in the class of Smith or Chase. Heck, he may not be as good as Ohio State’s Chris Olave, but it’s hard to get the thoughts of him taking one 75 yards to the house versus the Boise State Broncos in 2019 out of your mind. So far, during the 2020 college football season, we’ve seen the drops, so Terry is human. Still it’s hard to say he isn’t better than JJ Arcega-Whiteside. If Philly moves on from ‘JJAW’ and Alshon Jeffery, the thoughts of adding a bigger receiver on the other side of the formation across from Jalen Reagor might raise Philly’s antenna.
