5 Philadelphia Eagles whose stock you may need to sell immediately
This was supposed to be one of the Philadelphia Eagles’ steals, wasn’t it?
There’s no nice way to say this. Anyone that ever uses the term ‘slot god’ in conjunction with Nickell Robey-Coleman‘s name again needs to have their rights to speak on NFL matters revoked.
If the season ended now, no one would remember ‘NRC’ for any play that he made in coverage. No one would remember him as a ‘steal’. All people would remember him for would be the way he jogged after Daniel Jones while the New York Giants’ quarterback tried to shift Week 7’s momentum in one play with his legs.
Then, as if that wasn’t bad enough, he committed a pass-interference penalty that kept a drive alive, a drive the Giants scored on (one that gave the ‘G-Men’ a 14-10 lead at the time).
This was a guy that people were calling a ‘steal’ all Spring and Summer. The truth is he’s nothing more than something Eagles fans recognize more, another disappointment at the cornerback position.
