How did you not know adding Jason Peters to the Philadelphia Eagles was unwise?

It’s baffling that some of you didn’t know this when you screamed at the top of your lungs that bringing Jason Peters back was a ‘no-brainer’, but watching what should finally be his last run with the ‘Birds’ has revealed a few things. He’s old and he’s tired.

He’s missed the last four games due to injury, but the expectation is that a team that rarely learns from past mistakes anymore will stick him right back in the lineup in Week 8. Poor Carson Wentz.

. . . Boston Scott, running back. 35. player. 54

Now is the time for Boston Scott to prove that he can dominate someone other than the New York Giants. Eagles fans everywhere are hoping that he has a big game in this one.

54. . . . Jalen Reagor, wide receiver. 18. player

The last time the Eagles took a wide receiver in the first round that wound up wearing number 18, his name was Jeremy Maclin. That one turned out to be a pretty good idea, but so far, thanks in part to an injury that knocked the new ’18’ out of the lineup in Week 2, Reagor’s season statistical total looks like a stat line most hoped he would put up week in and week out (five receptions and 96 receiving yards).

He rejoins the Eagles starting lineup in Week 8 along with T.J. Edwards, Jason Peters, and Dallas Goedert. Hopefully, this will be the breakout game that fans have been starving for.
