Adam Shaheen could blossom in the Philadelphia Eagles offense.

Like Everett, Adam Shaheen can’t claim to be on Ertz’s level, but if he’s healthy, he could be a nice third option in the Eagles’ offense. If you’re unaware, Philly’s got a great tight ends coach in Justin Peelle. He can definitely bring the best out of this six-foot-six, 257-pound former second-rounder.

Everett’s first three seasons at the professional level began with a stint with the Chicago Bears, but his 2018 season began in the same fashion that the 2019 season ended, with a trip to the injured reserve.

He seems to be healthy now, having appeared in nine games with three starts in 2020. He’s only been targeted ten times. He’s only hauled six catches, but two of them have gone for touchdowns.

Let’s be totally honest here though. You have to believe that Shaheen is just as good as Josh Perkins but less expensive than Dallas Goedert or Richard Rodgers would be in 2021. There’s also no evidence that Shaheen isn’t already better than Hakeem Butler or Jason Croom.
