Philadelphia Eagles fans are already very familiar with Yannick Ngakoue.

It was only a few months ago that the Philadelphia Eagles were mentioned in rumors with Yannick Ngakoue and the former Jacksonville Jaguars star was posting pictures of himself in an Eagles jersey on his Instagram account.

Philly ignored him, but that’s no surprise. Recently, they’ve spent most of their time ignoring guys like Jamal Adams, Jadeveon Clowney when he was available, and DeAndre Hopkins. Instead, they’ve signed broken down versions of guys who used to be good in some past version of Eagles glory (Jason Peters and Jordan Howard for instance).

We were told that Philly may have attempted to land Ngakoue and that the asking price was too high, but regardless of that, he landed in Minnesota with the Vikings before being traded to the Baltimore Ravens. Baltimore hasn’t signed him to an extension past the 2020 season though which means that he could be an available free agent in 2021. Philly wouldn’t ignore him a second time, would they?
