3. This Philadelphia Eagles defense needs to stay disciplined.

This is another one we seem to bring up week after week. This week it’s especially true though. With Russell Wilson, this defense has to stay on their toes. Everyone needs to know their assignment. There can’t be players filling the wrong gaps, failing to fill a gap, leaving their zone in zone coverage, or failing to contain the edge. Jim Schwartz better place a quarterback spy on Russ or this game will be out of reach before it gets started.

Last year, Schwartz did a good job dialing up the pressure to force Wilson out of the pocket and towards the sideline. When Russell Wilson had to think for an extra second this year versus the Arizona Cardinals (in Week 7), Buffalo Bills, and Los Angeles Rams, he struggled. In those three games, he had 10 total turnovers. Wilson also can’t have time to survey the field or room to scramble in this one. He’s more dangerous when he’s outside of the pocket as we’ve seen his whole career.
