By now, you should have concluded that, until Howie Roseman slithers his way out of the City of Brotherly Love, nothing is going to get better for this football team. Sure, Doug Pederson is gone, but let’s be frank. If the way the leadership structure doesn’t change the way that they do business, it won’t matter who they bring in.

How can a head coach win consistently when a disgruntled quarterback can go around him and see the owner whenever he gets frustrated? Oh, and he’s doing so with no repercussion. How can a head coach create a gameplan when he hasn’t yet gotten the word about who will be active? What is this team doing when its star quarterback can say what he does and doesn’t want to run in a game and what he does or doesn’t want to work on in practice?

This Eagles team is a circus, and its ringleader is a half-pint, power-hungry little man with a Napoleon Complex. As long as he’s here, a mediocre product on the field will follow him.

The only person that has any power to do anything about that is the same guy that can’t see that there’s an issue, Eagles Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie. His loyalty to Roseman is hindering this team’s ability to get better.
