Here’s a name Philadelphia Eagles fans should be mentioning more.

Perhaps some of you forgot because this season wasn’t as successful as the 2019 campaign was for the LSU Tigers, but there’s still some talent there. Sure, they lost some horses and a coach or two after winning the College Football Playoff National Championship Game at the end of the 2019-2020 season, but if all you think there is to talk about is Ja’Marr Chase, you might want to rewind the tape a tad.

Then, there are other guys like Kary Vincent Jr. He actually opted out of the 2020 season due to COVID-19 concerns, but he accepted an invitation to participate at the most recent Senior Bowl.

Vincent is someone that Chip Kelly probably wouldn’t have liked because he’s only five-foot-ten and slight of frame at 189 pounds, but he plays like he’s six-foot-tall. Unless he’s due a growth spurt in the next month or so, which is probably unlikely, his endgame is probably leading him to the slot cornerback position at the professional level.

That would actually be good news to an Eagles fan base that has grown tired of Nickell Robey-Coleman. He never really transformed into that ‘Slot God’ that Birds fans were promised.
