Maybe the Philadelphia Eagles faithful was wrong about Alshon Jeffery?

While he never really admitted to being that anonymous source that spoke to Josina Anderson, we all know it was Alshon Jeffery right? Seriously, we can all agree on that, can’t we? No, for real, you did notice that, once he was approached about the whole thing, everything stopped right?

Anyway, regardless of what your thoughts are, that’s all water under the bridge, and more information makes us wiser. It appears that a lot of what 17 said about Carson Wentz was right. Sure, he should have walked across the locker room and said all of that to him man to man, but as most of you know, the fallout from the whole ordeal has caused more of a hit to Alshon’s image than it has to Carson’s.

There are also other things to consider. Jeffery plays a position of need on this Eagles team. He’s one of the wealthier guys that do so, and like Jackson, Alshon’s best days a clearly behind him. Remember that earlier comment about Philadelphia moving on from guys a year too late as opposed to a year too early? There may not be a better example of that than DeSean Jackson and Number 17.

Their dismissal is long overdue. It’s high time that Philadelphia moves on, gives the younger guys a shot, and turns the page on a former Super Bowl hero that regressed a whole lot faster than many of us imagined.
