A Philadelphia Eagles rival gets a very good cover corner.

9. Denver Broncos: CB Caleb Farley, Virginia Tech

Caleb Farley may be a little underdeveloped, but his physical features have him as the first cornerback off the board in this NFL mock draft. He’s six-foot-two, but he doesn’t lack the speed and athleticism that many prospects his size lack. The former Virginia Tech Hokie would be a great fit on a defense that just lost their number one cornerback in A.J. Bouye.

10. Dallas Cowboys: CB Patrick Surtain II, Alabama

Son of a former All-Pro cornerback, Patrick Surtain II might just be the most pro-ready player in this draft. After starting for three straight years at Alabama, he was exposed to the best receivers in college football and held his own against them. The Dallas Cowboys would love to have his height and length on the outside.

11. New York Giants: TE Kyle Pitts, Florida

Don’t let the title fool you, Kyle Pitts is more than just your traditional tight end. Standing at a towering six-foot-six and weighing in at 245 pounds, the Philadelphia native provides a matchup nightmare for defenses. He can line up on the outside and beat cornerbacks off the snap or get down in a three-point stance and work the middle of the field. He’s just what Daniel Jones needs.

12. San Francisco 49ers: QB Trey Lance, North Dakota State

Trey Lance screams potential, but the main knock on him is his lack of experience and competition. He’s a dangerous runner and has the arm strength to throw the ball wherever it needs to go, but he may need a year of developing. Enter the 49ers. Jimmy Garoppolo could start next year, then the organization could choose to have Lance line up behind center moving forward.
