Herring is the perfect pass-rusher for the Philadelphia Eagles defense.

University of Georgia Bulldogs defensive lineman Malik Herring is a terror for any opposing offense. At six-foot-three and 285-pounds, he’s a rare combination of size, speed, and violent hands that defensive coordinators covet at the highest level of the game we all love.

A true versatile pass-rushing force, the Georgia product has the ablilty to be moved around the defensive line. He’s as great a run stopper as he is a pass rusher with a very aggressive style of play and diciplined pad levels.

He never seems to fall for misdirection and has a very high football intelligience that will come in handy in the NFL. The Philadelphia Eagles’ front office would be wise to go after a player like Herring if they want to compete in the NFC sooner rather than later.

The Birds covet pass-rushers and the big guys up front, so adding Malik Herring in the 2021 NFL Draft makes a ton of sense. They need to add youth at every level of their defense and starting with Herring would be a great start.
