53. . . . WR Rashard Higgins. 1. player

Rashard Higgins is exactly who the Philadelphia Eagles need on the outside.

While he may have been remembered for fumbling the ball out of the endzone in a playoff game against the Chiefs, Rashard Higgins quietly had a productive year in Cleveland. After Odell Beckham Jr. tore his ACL in Week 7, the Browns needed another receiver, and Higgins answered the call.

In the 11 games that he played in after Beckham’s injury, Higgins put up 39 catches for 662 yards and two touchdowns. Those numbers alone would have made him the leading receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles, as Travis Fulgham led the team with 539 yards this past season.

He’s not the fastest player on the field, but Rashard Higgins simply knows how to get open for his quarterback. His precise route running combined with his soft hands makes him an attractive target for all NFL teams looking to add a receiver. Think of him as a technician.

There are rumors that the Cleveland Browns are looking to move on from Higgins which is good news for Eagles fans everywhere. He won’t be a number one receiver, but he’s a productive player who would be a great addition to the Philadelphia offense.

His price tag may be an issue, as Spotrac projects his market value at over $7 million a year, but if the front office can snatch him for around $5 million a year, it’ll be a bargain. Keep an eye on Higgins’ name in headlines moving forward.
