Eric Stokes could solve the Philadelphia Eagles’ riddle of who CB2 needs to be.

At this point, it’s gotten ridiculous. Every offseason, it’s the same narrative. The Philadelphia Eagles always seem to be in need of help at the linebacker, wide receiver, running back, and cornerback positions.

No matter what they have done, it never changes. In 2020, they manufactured a trade that brought Darius Slay into the fold, but it hasn’t solved the problem. There’s still a chasm-sized hole on the other side of the defensive formation. Perhaps Eric Stokes could solve the issue?

Stokes is a six-foot-one cover guy that tips the scales at 185 pounds. He really shined in 2020 for the Dawgs, and much to the delight of anyone that self-identifies as a fan of this great program, he saved his best performances for some of UGA’s high-profile games.

Watch what he did against both the Auburn Tigers and Tennessee Volunteers, and you’ll see why he’s on this list. In all honesty, he’d be the highest-ranked cornerback from Georgia on everyone’s board had he not shared the field with a potential first-rounder. Don’t be surprised if his stock rises though. He ran a 4.25-second 40-yard dash at Georgia’s Pro Day.
