Tarron Jackson has all the tools to be a star for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Coastal Carolina’s defense was a constant storm for opposing offenses, one that was led by edge rusher Jeffrey Gunter, defensive tackle CJ Brewer, and this year’s draft darling Tarron Jackson. The latter is a six-foot-two, 260-pound prospect that’s a terror when he’s coming off of the edge. Built with a powerful base and arguably the best first step while pass-rushing, Jackson has all the tools to help him become a star at the next level.

Coastal Carolina is a Division I school, but let’s be completely honest. The media and college football fans don’t give these guys their due. That should end with Jackson, Gunter, and Brewer once they land in the league. The Eagles need to add a defensive end or two that can possibly be the starter in the near future.

Right now, Jackson is considered a day-three pick. Which would mean the front office will have plenty of capital to land the former Chanticleer. He represents both low-risk and high reward, and he’s someone that could legitimately turn into a Pro-Bowl selection down the road.
