Herring has all the tools to be a huge get for the Philadelphia Eagles defense

At six-foot-three and 285 pounds, Georgia Bulldogs defensive lineman Malik Herring has great size and the raw ability to be a key player for the Birds. A complete terror off the edge, the Georgia product has the speed and skill set to be a true star.

The Philadelphia Eagles will need to add depth to their defensive line room this year. Herring could be a great addition during 2021’s selection meeting.

A versatile weapon, Herring can play the edge and kick inside to play over the guard. He plays a lot bigger than his size and can bulldoze opposing offensive lineman. He has the scrappy attitude that coaches look for. He loves to set the tone physically. Needless to say, Herring isn’t the type of guy that you want to see in a phone booth.

Over the last few years, the defensive line has been the strength of the team, so it would not be a surprise to see the front office continue to add versatile talents like this one. Moving forward, he could be the perfect addition to the team.
