Here are a few guys that could wiggle onto the Philadelphia Eagles roster late.

It must be said that Malcolm Koonce of the Buffalo, Oklahoma State’s Amen Ogbongbemiga, and Virginia’s Charles Snowden all deserve honorable mention, but in the end, we couldn’t wiggle them into yet another top ten.

Here’s who made the bottom half of another top ten. Write these names down if you haven’t already.

10. Grant Stuard, Houston

It had to be tough for Houston’s Grant Stuard to get into a consistent groove when there was inconsistency all around him. COVID-19 made things tough on the Cougars from a scheduling standpoint, but this young man kept his wits about him and turned in an impressive season.

9. Pete Werner, Ohio State

Werner stayed pretty consistent throughout his final three seasons after pretty much getting his feet wet as a freshman. He’s a solid run defender that racked up 185 tackles, four sacks, and 13 pass breakups in 39 career games.

8. Hamilcar Rashed Jr., Oregon State

A tough 2020 college football season meant Hamilcar Rashed Jr. didn’t get to post the same type of numbers that he did in 2018 and 2019, but all things considered, it was still an impressive year for the man who posted 14 sacks as a junior.

7. DeAngelo Malone, Western Kentucky

The six-foot-four, 230-pound DeAngelo Malone turned in a good season for the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers in 2020 and racked up 255 total tackles including 41.5 for a loss of yardage. He also chipped into his team’s cause with 24.5 sacks, an interception, and four forced fumbles over his 47-game career.

6. JaCoby Stevens, LSU

With so much talent on LSU’s roster, even great players like JaCoby Stevens can be overlooked, but if you place him on 90 percent of the other rosters in the country, he becomes the best player on the team.
