The Philadelphia Eagles front office needs to add defensive talent at all levels.

LSU linebacker Jabril Cox is not your normal prospect manning the middle of the defense. The Tiger product is a true sideline-to-sideline playmaker, with the speed to run down ball carriers and the football intelligence to help in the passing game. Built with quick feet, an aggressive nature, and the tone-setting ability coaches dream about, Cox would be the perfect selection early on in the draft.

At six-foot-four and 230 pounds, this young man has great size to go along with his nasty playing style. He’s capable of rushing the passer as well as shutting down the running game. Cox has all the tools to be a star for the Eagles.

Anytime you have a chance to add a talent like Jabril Cox, you have to pull the trigger. So, while in this scenario, the Birds trade back into the first round to steal a stud. Adding Cox could be an even wiser decision this early in the 2021 NFL draft.
