829. . WR. Crimson Tide . DeVonta Smith. 12. player

Philadelphia Eagles fans get the best player available.

If both cornerbacks (Patrick Surtain and Jaycee Horn) are off of the board, this is an easy pick. Even with Surtain and Horn on the board, it’s extremely difficult to pass up DeVonta Smith. While the young wide receivers should make strides under head coach Nick Sirianni and second-year wide receivers coach Aaron Moorehead, DeVonta Smith is an instant boost.

He can play all three wide receiver positions, understands how to win at the line with the right release, and runs the sharpest routes you will see.

The Heisman Trophy winner is being somewhat underrated as of late by plenty of media and fans. Time will tell what NFL scouts think of him and if he’ll actually fall to Philly at pick 12. Even if he is on the board, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Howie Roseman passed on him.

Here at ITI, we are holding out hope that he doesn’t overthink this one. We could spend more time on DeVonta’s talents but he’s one of those players who is so gifted that not much else needs to be said. His play speaks for itself.
