The Philadelphia Eagles land a former Temple Owl.

While Kenny Yeboah finished his college career with Ole Miss, he started it at Lincoln Financial Field as a Temple Owl. With Zach Ertz expected to be traded by the end of the draft, the Birds bring in Yeboah to help at the tight end position.

In his only season with Ole Miss, he put up 27 catches, 524 yards, and six touchdowns through just seven games. He never did that at Temple over the course of a full season. The fact that he improved against SEC competition is impressive.

While his blocking ability is respectable, he’s better known for streaking wide open down the seam and hauling in almost anything with his 80 1/8-inch wingspan. Two tight end sets in the red zone with Dallas Goedert and Yeboah would be a treat for Eagles fans to watch. They should be ecstatic if he ends up in the midnight green.
