The Philadelphia Eagles defensive line really needed the addition of Jackson.

The University of Coastal Carolina had one heck of a year in 2020. The Chants housed one of the most dominant defenses in the college ranks, led by Philadelphia Eagles sixth-round pick Tarron Jackson.

A legit terror coming off the edge, Jackson had the moves and physical makeup to be a true star in the National Football league. The six-foot-two, 260-pound powerhouse has the versatility to play both inside and out, and he also has the football intelligence that coaches covet.

Heading into the 2021 NFL draft, the Eagles’ front office needed to find depth on the defensive line. After adding Milton Williams (third-round) and Marlon Tuipulotu (sixth-round), they may have knocked the ball out of the park with Jackson. While he’ll need development sitting behind Brandon Graham and Josh Sweat, he has the potential to become a star.

The Eagles were right to continue building the defensive line. The addition of Jackson could truly boost the pass-rush as he has all the tools to be a defensive mainstay for years to come.
