Stevens has all the tools to be a stud for the Philadelphia Eagles defense.

LSU Tigers defender JaCoby Stevens is a versatile weapon that the Philadelphia Eagles defense could really use. Considered a ‘box’ safety, one who’s capable of living at the line of scrimmage (oe should), Stevens has the raw speed to help in a zone.

He also possesses the physical traits to be a problem in the running game. Opposing offenses have had trouble figuring out ways to expose the athlete, and they have failed in most situations.

The front office made a similar move a few years back when they drafted Nathan Gerry. This time around, they have a lot more to work with in the form JaCoby Stevens as he has all the tools to be a difference-maker on defense.

The six-foot-two, 220-pound product has an eye for the football and always seems to be in the right place at the right time. The Eagles defense needed to add talent to both the linebacker and defensive back rooms. Stevens is the perfect addition and a ‘positionless player’, one who has all the potential fans love in a player.

Moving forward, look for the coaching staff to find different ways to use the former LSU Tiger.
