Philadelphia Eagles, Chiefs 2021 matchup will be better than expected

The Chiefs have a tougher road early than the Philadelphia Eagles do.

One reason the Eagles could pull an upset or make this one a close game against Kansas City is that the Chiefs may fall victim to the dreaded ‘trap game’.

Philadelphia faces the Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, and Dallas Cowboys in their first three games of the season. The Eagles could be 2-1 by the time they face K.C. as they could pick up wins versus Atlanta and the Cowboys.

Philly’s games versus Dallas are always emotional, and that could mean the team might lay an egg in the Chiefs game. The NFL did the Chiefs no favors in their first three tilts. They face the Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens, and the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Browns will be out for revenge after falling short in the AFC Divisional Round last year. The Ravens always play tough versus the Chiefs. The Chargers are a divisional game.

All of this could work in the Eagles’ favor in week four as the Chiefs have the tougher road early, which could make this a much closer game.
