The Philadelphia Eagles head to MetLife again.

For the second time in as many weeks, the Philadelphia Eagles visit MetLife Stadium to face former Joe Douglas’ squad, the lowly New York Jets. Surely, the Birds won’t lose this one right? Well, fortunately, they do have history on their side… fortunately.

As hard as it may be to believe this one, the Philadelphia Eagles have never lost to the New York Jets… like ever!

They’re 11-0 in 11 head-to-head matchups. Their most recent victory was a 31-6 rear-end whooping by Philadelphia during the 2019 season. How bad were the Jets then? Try this one on for size.

Despite racking up six total tackles and three sacks, the NFL decided against giving Brandon Graham defensive player of the week honors after the game. It was almost as if the league decided that he should have gotten three sacks because he was playing the Jets.

Not much is expected of either team in 2021, but we’ll give this one to the guys in midnight green for one reason. They don’t suck as bad as the other guys. This game takes Philly into the bye week in Week 14. Thankfully, we know that we don’t have to mark that one down as a loss.

Final score: Eagles 34, Jets 17 (2021-2022 Eagles record: 7-6)
