The first clash between Washington and the Philadelphia Eagles comes Week 15.

Don’t look now, but the Birds are, all of a sudden, enjoying a two-game winning streak. That is if everything works out as suggested in this 17-week scenario.

Washington swept Philly during the 2020-2021 campaign, and for all intents and purposes, if you guessed that the same thing was to happen during the 2021-2022 season, you’d probably be able to find quite a few guys that would agree with you.

Philly has added former Washington mainstay, Ryan Kerrigan, to the roster. That move was announced on May 17th. He’ll be looking to exact some revenge on his former team.

As it always does, the Eagles and Washington two-game series will provide intrigue. Look for hard-hitting, trash-talking, and some frustrating games to watch for both fan bases. As of right now though, Washington’s defense looks to be good enough to keep Philadelphia’s offense out of the end zone more than Philly’s will be able to limit Washington’s O. Ryan Fitzpatrick and Taylor Heinicke are both talented enough to steer their ship behind center.

Final score: Washington 23, Eagles 16 (2021-2022 Eagles record: 7-7)
