The Philadelphia Eagles complete a season sweep of Big Blue.

Does anyone remember when we talked about Zach Ertz being talented but that he’d also have to learn how to be better versus someone outside of the New York Giants? History seems to be repeating itself in the form of Boston Scott.

Here’s what’s both crazy and realistic. There’s a chance that Scott isn’t on this team by the time we reach the next regular season. All of a sudden, the Birds are loaded at running back.

Despite that, however, Scott has still been Big Blue’s kryptonite over the past two seasons. In four games versus New York with Scott in the lineup, the Birds are 3-1. Scott has 44 totes in those games for 222 yards, 14 receptions for 210 yards, five rushing touchdowns, and one receiving touchdown.

Again, if he’s in the lineup, the Giants had better watch out. If he isn’t, Philly will need someone else to come up with that same type of Boston Scott production.

Did you ever think you’d say that?

Either way that you decide to slice it, here’s some good news for Philadelphia Eagles fans. They’ve recently normally had the Giants number, and in Week 16, they get back to their winning ways over their rivals from the Big Apple.

Final score: Giants 16, Eagles 24 (2021-2022 Eagles record: 8-7)
