Philadelphia Eagles wide receivers need to go to another level this season.

Ok, you’re right. You were told that three players would be mentioned. Oh well. What are you going to do?

The Eagles have spent a lot of draft capital on the receiver position as of late, having gone with a wideout with their first pick in the last two drafts. The selection of DeVonta Smith seems like a huge get for the Eagles’ offense, but he has a lot to prove.

The Heisman Trophy winner has all the tools to be a game-changer, but the team can’t rely on a rookie. Last year’s top selection Jalen Reagor has shown flashes, but that’s where it ends. He will need to be a different player this year if the offense will flourish in any way.

On paper, Smith, Reagor, and Travis Fulgham seem like a pretty good trio of receivers, but they’ll need a much better year in 2021 if things will ever tick up. All three players have excellent tools, and if given the opportunity, each guy could develop into a dominant force moving forward.

If the offense is ever going to take a step forward, Jalen Hurts and his weapons need to elevate to another level as soon as possible.
