Expect some surprises when the Philadelphia Eagles release their roster.

Okay, here’s a serious question… No one else keeps thinking about that two-year deal Killins signed in the offseason and why it’s a two-year deal? On another note, in keeping with the running back narrative, Philly signed Jordan Howard to a one-year deal on April 13th.

Philly should probably move on as he looks like Jay Ajayi and Corey Clement when it was clear that they had nothing left, but don’t be surprised if he lands on the roster. Philly loves those broken-down backs.

Quarterbacks (2): Jalen Hurts, Joe Flacco (Jamie Newman finds his way onto the practice squad)

Running backs (4): Miles Sanders, Kenneth Gainwell, Kerryon Johnson, Adrian Killins Jr.

Wide receivers (6): DeVonta Smith, Jalen Reagor, Travis Fulgham, Trevon Grimes, Quez Watkins, Greg Ward

Thoughts on this one: Grimes plays his way into a roster spot, and Philly finally ends the JJ Arcega-Whiteside experiment.

Tight ends (3): Dallas Goedert, Jason Croom, Caleb Wilson

Thoughts on this one: We’re assuming Zach Ertz is traded. Croom has spent some time with Philly and has in-game experience. He even scored a touchdown in 2020. You know this team likes guys they already know. 2019’s Mr. Irrelevant, Caleb Wilson, outplays the undrafted guys for the third tight end spot.

Offensive line (9): Andre Dillard, Jordan Mailata, Isaac Seumalo, Jason Kelce, Brandon Brooks, Lane Johnson, Jack Driscoll, Landon Dickerson, Nate Herbig
