These guys will definitely make the Philadelphia Eagles roster and start Week 1.

3. Brandon Brooks, right guard: Brandon Brooks is one of the best players at his position, but he’s now seen his season end prematurely three times since January of 2019. let’s hope he’s good to go, but the injuries seem to be happening more frequently.

2. Lane Johnson, right tackle: No one talks about this, like ever, but Lane Johnson has a legitimate Pro Football Hall of Fame argument when his playing days are over. Once he adds another Pro Bowl nod to his resume after the 2021-2022 season, maybe the national media will be echoing his sentiment.

1. Jason Kelce, center aka G.O.A.T.: Let it be known that, when we say the Philadelphia Eagles need to get less expensive and younger, we aren’t talking about Jason Kelce. He’s still one of the best players the Birds have and he never misses games.

As a matter of fact, he hasn’t missed a game since five days before Halloween in 2014. He’s been elected to four Pro Bowls (2014, 2016, 2019, 2020). He has three First-team All-Pro nods on his resume (2017–2019). As is the case with Lane Johnson, we need to start talking about carving him a bust to place in Canton, Ohio when his playing days are over. Not bad at all for a former sixth-round draft choice out of Cincinnati.
