The Philadelphia Eagles front office wanted him once.

Cornerback Daryl Worley has had a rollercoaster ride of a career to this point. Drafted by the Carolina Panthers, he has spent time as a Raider (twice) and also with the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills. He even had enough time to have a cup of coffee with our beloved Philadelphia Eagles once.

Despite him moving around the league with such frequency, there is a reason why he always lands on his feet. The former West Virginia Mountaineer has all the tools to be a more than sufficient starting cornerback in the National Football League. This has been proven more than once.

The six-foot-one 210-pound defensive back has proven to be a solid acquisition wherever he’s been. He also has the football intelligence to be a versatile weapon for the Philadelphia Eagles. He’s also a native of the City of Brotherly Love for what that’s worth.

Daryl Worley is capable of playing at just about any spot on the backend of a defense. He would add a ton of value to a defense in need of playmakers. The Philadelphia native still has enough juice in his legs to be a great corner opposite Darius Slay. He could be the perfect investment moving forward.
