3 Cowboys prospects Philadelphia Eagles could add after final roster cuts
Philadelphia Eagles could see Trysten Hill as being interesting.
We’ve often spoken about the fact that the Philadelphia Eagles devalue the linebacker position. What you’ve never heard said is this team doesn’t invest enough stock in the interior of the defensive line. If Howie Roseman isn’t adding someone in free agency, Javon Hargrave for instance, he’s drafting someone else (think Milton Williams and Marlon Tuipulotu).
It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that Howie would add another defensive tackle when it seems as though the Birds are set there and have more pressing needs somewhere else. As an Eagles fan, you’ve, no doubt, seen that a time or two.
Trysten Hill is a former second-round draft choice of the Cowboys (2019). Things haven’t exactly gone according to plan (16 tackles in 12 career games), but a change of scenery and the alleviated pressure of having to be the guy with Fletcher Cox on the roster could lead to someone like Hill being a key piece in Philly’s defensive tackle rotation.
