Philadelphia Eagles hold Jets to under 200 total yards of total offense

You guys remember that game from a couple of years ago when the New York Jets came into Lincoln Financial Field and got smacked around by Philly right?  Everything seemed to go right in that one.

The defense picked off Luke Falk twice. Brandon Graham notched three sacks. Orlando Scandrick even got into the action as he had two sacks and a strip and scoot to the endzone.

Graham was ignored as he should have earned defensive player of the week honors in the NFC but wasn’t. Why? Because the Eagles were supposed to put on that type of performance versus the lowly Jets.

Graham won’t be playing in this one, but that’s okay. Expect a dominating performance by the Birds on both sides of the ball and on special teams in this one too. Philadelphia’s defense should and will put on their best performance of the preseason, holding the Jets to under 200 total yards of offense. They just won’t get any credit for it because, for one, it’s a preseason game, and secondly, these are the New York Jets we’re talking about. Anything exciting that happens in this one will be dismissed by the time Saturday evening arrives.
