Can the Philadelphia Eagles get on the board versus the Jets defense?

We all love statistics, well some of them anyway. Here’s one that won’t make you smile.

The Philadelphia Eagles haven’t put any points on the board since the second quarter of the first preseason game, and their only touchdown was the one we saw from Quez Watkins on that screen pass (gosh, it feels like that was a month ago).

New York is led by rookie head coach and former San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh. Does anyone want to take any bets on whether or not he wants to see that trend continue?

New York Jets cornerback Brandin Echols

Brandin Echols make get an extended look in this one. Undrafted rookie Isaiah Dunn saw himself on the receiving end of a nice opportunity to really make a name for himself in the Jets’ second preseason game as Blessuan Austin missed the game due to personal reasons.

Unfortunately for Dunn, he didn’t do much with the opportunity. Still, it should be interesting to see what the low men on the Jets’ cornerback totem pole do versus the Eagles wide receivers who are on the back half of this roster.

New York outside linebacker Bryce Huff

In 2020, Bryce Huff appeared in 14 games and notched 16 tackles and two sacks. He’s someone that could get some extended playing time on Friday. It will be interesting to see if Philly’s reserve offensive tackles can keep him off of their quarterback.
