Philadelphia Eagles roster notes: Winners, losers from preseason finale
Add these guys to the Philadelphia Eagles’ dud category
Andre Dillard, left tackle
A first-round draft choice being beaten out in a position battle by a seventh-round draft choice that never played football before three years ago is inexcusable. Committing a false start penalty after a timeout is absolutely inexcusable. Andre Dillard looks more and more like a disappointment the more we all watch him play.
Travis Fulgham, wide receiver
A man seemingly in the coaches’ doghouse didn’t do him any favors again. Coming out of this one, Travis Fulgham will be remembered because a nine-play, 72-yard drive in the fourth quarter that would have extended the Philadelphia Eagles’ lead to 14 points ended with him fumbling the ball out of the back of the end zone. That was tough to watch.
Dishonorable mention: Kevon Seymour
The future looks bleak. Already having had more than his fair share of injuries, Kevon Seymour left the playing field with what we thought was a concussion. He returned, but at this point, he’s a high-risk, low-reward guy. Is he not?
