The Philadelphia Eagles have quite a few guys that they should study.

Inside The Iggles: Who are the guys on offense and defense that Birds fans may not know but need to pay attention to in this one?

Panacy: On offense, it’s easy to highlight the playmakers like George Kittle and Deebo Samuel. But look at rookie running back Elijah Mitchell, who torched the Lions for more than 100 yards in Week 1. He’s fast, and that could be a massive difference-maker with starting running back Raheem Mostert out for the season. Same with wide receiver Trent Sherfield. He’s been a gem of a free-agent find and even hauled in Lance’s first touchdown pass this season.

On the flip side of the ball, it’s also easy to highlight the defensive studs like Nick Bosa and Fred Warner. Yet it was impressive to see fellow pass-rusher Dee Ford display the burst and speed that made him such a threat back in 2018 with the Chiefs. Ford looks fully recovered from his season-ending back injury suffered last year.

He might be a fifth-round rookie. But cornerback Deommodore Lenoir has also looked fantastic. In the wake of Jason Verrett suffering a season-ending ACL tear in Week 1, look for Lenoir to assume a bigger role this season.
