5 Philadelphia Eagles on offense to watch

Dallas Goedert, tight end

First thing’s first. Dallas Goedert can’t do much if the ball isn’t thrown in his direction as we saw in Week 2. It should be pretty obvious to everyone right now that this offense isn’t going to do much consistently if he isn’t involved.

DeVonta Smith, wide receiver

We know the Cowboys are loaded on offense. DeVonta Smith was drafted to help the Eagles become equally as lethal. Week 3 would be a nice time for a monster performance.

Miles Sanders, running back

Miles Sanders has a history of pulling huge plays out of his hat. One of those long-gainers and some added strength to Philly’s running game would help the cause tremendously, especially when the Cowboys have been known to eat up some yards on the ground as well.

The Philadelphia Eagles have to win time of possession, and if they do, it will be because Sanders helped them do so.

Landon Dickerson, right guard

When the Eagles drafted Landon Dickerson, the word was he was the best non-tackle in the draft if healthy. In Brandon Brooks’ absence, he’s going to have to grow up very quickly. Can he answer the call?

Jalen Hurts, quarterback

This one’s obvious. By a show of hands, is there anyone that believes the Philadelphia Eagles can win if Jalen Hurts has a bad night? Exactly! Scheme and discipline will win this one, not chucking the ball downfield and hoping someone runs under it.
