The Philadelphia Eagles list of zeroes continues.

Zero: Jalen Hurts, Quarterback.

One of the biggest questions surrounding this season is finding out if Jalen Hurts is the future of this franchise, and in Week 3, he did not put any doubt to rest. Bird’s eye view, being 25 of 39 passing for 326 yards and 2 touchdowns, doesn’t look that bad on paper, but all Philly fans are aware most of this yardage came in garbage time.

Hurts looked like a rookie in Week 3. His ability to step into throws and move off his first reads seems to haunt him still. Honestly, the Eagles might want to get him a tinted visor. He stared down his reads so long that even the camera crew knew where he was going.

After many missed opportunities, you see the flash of talent on the touchdown throw to receiver Greg Ward. Which just adds to the frustration. It also must be stated his team and coach did him no favors. Speaking of this coaching staff.

Zero: The entire coaching staff.

Now don’t worry, Philly fans, we will have a section just dedicated to head coach Nick Sirianni, but the coaching staff needs to be called out in its entirety. The simple lack of discipline from this team in 3 weeks is on an epic scale.

This team currently sits (by a wide margin) as the most penalized team in the National Football League. Every single coach in this franchise has done nothing but preach discipline throughout training camp, and it just has not shown up. Okay, now onto the real concern of this Week 3 matchup.
