5 Lions that can wreck Week 8 for the Eagles on the defensive side of the ball

This isn’t the 1985 Chicago Bears by any means. The Lions held the Baltimore Ravens and Minnesota Vikings both to 19 points, but they have a tendency to get scored on quite often.

The Eagles will be given opportunities. The question is whether or not they can take advantage of them. Here are ten Lions to watch on defense.

1. Alex Anzalone, linebacker

The heartbeat of the Lions defense is its linebacker corps at the second level. Alex Anzalone leads the team in tackles. He also has a sack and an interception on his resume in 2021

2. Charles Harris, linebacker

The Lions run a 3-4 defensive scheme. Charles Harris leads the team in sacks with four.

3. Tracy Walker III, safety

One of the more well-known Lions (and for good reason), Tracy Walker III is second on the team in total tackles. He also has a sack on the season.

4. Jalen Reeves-Maybin, linebacker

This is someone, though not a household name, that the Eagles would be wise to keep tabs on at all times.

5. Amani Oruwariye, cornerback

Amani Oruwariye shoulders some of the responsibility of limiting those young Eagles wide receivers. He has a nose for the football, already hauling in three interceptions and hauling the guy with the ball down 25 times this season.
