Jalen Hurts report card vs. Lions: Sometimes underwhelming works
Jalen Hurts’ final grades for Week 8
If you would have told Eagles fans, prior to this one, that Jalen Hurts would complete 64 percent of his passes but throw the ball less than 15 times while sprinkling in another seven scrambles, they might have been interested. If you would have told those same fans that the Eagles would run the ball more than 45 times, you might have raised an antenna or two.
If you would have told Birds fans that Philadelphia would rack up 236 rushing yards, they would have signed up for that without thinking about it. Who wouldn’t, right?
Jalen Hurts is often talked about as being Fantasy football gold. The wins haven’t come consistently, but he has racked up some nice numbers.
This wasn’t his best statistical performance, by any means. Actually, it was one of his least productive outings as the Philadelphia Eagles’ signal-caller. Still, there’s a lot to be excited about.
The Birds may be on to something. They may have found themselves slightly. They can win despite throwing the ball less often. Unfortunately, this isn’t who Howie Roseman and Jeffrey Lurie want the Eagles to be.
Well, perhaps we’ll cross this bridge when we come to it. Here are Jalen Hurts’ grades for Week 8.
