Good news comes from the Philadelphia Eagles offense versus L.A. Chargers.

Fletcher Cox notches two sacks en route to a four-sack outing by the Eagles defense.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve no doubt heard about the trade deadline coming and going and the fact that Fletcher Cox, despite the rumors and theories, is still a member of the Philadelphia Eagles organization. He’s pretty pumped about that too.

He’s so pumped that we’re hoping it leads to some added motivation and bleeds over into the next game. The Chargers have had some issues in pass protection. Justin Herbert has been sacked two times or more in six of L.A.’s first seven games.

We’re thinking that trend continues. Look for four sacks by an Eagles defense that is motivated by its leader, Fletch, racking up two sacks of his own.

Darius Slay’s masterful season continues as ‘Big Play’ snags another interception.

Darius Slay‘s first season in the City of Brotherly Love didn’t go exactly as he wanted, but he’s more than turned things around during the first eight games of 2021, hauling the ball carrier down 30 total times, intercepting two passes, and returning a fumble to the crib in Week 8.

Expect the party to continue as a ferocious Eagles pass rush forces Herbert into a couple of bad throws, one of which landing in the waiting hands of Big Play Slay.
