It may be time for a few Philadelphia Eagles to sit.

Just how bad has the development of this Philadelphia Eagles team been? Phrases like ‘we don’t even know where to start’ come to mind. How does one even begin a fair evaluation process? It’s become increasingly difficult to identify the root causes of all of these issues.

Is this entire team this bad, or are they void of competent coaching? Do the coaches have nothing to work with or are they failing at ‘putting their players in the best position to be successful’? What say you?

How is it possible that every great player on this team got worse than they were a season ago and they all did so at the same time? If that’s the case, we have to be discussing a byproduct of bad coaching right?

So, let’s just say that this is a poorly coached team with depth issues. Every bit of the blame for that falls at the doorstep of the executive/vice president Howie Roseman, right?

It’s his job to staff this roster, manage the salary cap, and oversee the draft. If you take a poll, you’ll discover that most believe he’s done a bad job of all of that, and don’t you dare tell us about his wizardry in managing the cap. No one’s giving this guy a badge for cleaning up a mess that he made.

Grab a seat as we mull this one over. Where do we begin? How about we start with the easiest analysis that takes no effort to throw out there: this team sucks. If that’s the case, some of the guys in the important position need a ticket to the bench right? Well, it shouldn’t be hard to hand out a few.

Several names come to mind. Here are three that shouldn’t come as a surprise and one that we’ll add just to irritate a few people.
