The Philadelphia Eagles must score early and often.

As mentioned, scoring points has never been a problem for either of these teams when these two lock horns. In their last four meetings, both teams have averaged over 34.1 points per game, and in the last two meetings, at least one team has scored 50 or more points.

When Philadelphia pulled out their wins in 2017 and 2009 versus Denver, they outscored the  Broncos by 20 or more points in the first half. In other words, it would be a good idea to start fast. Often this season, the Eagles defense has allowed the opponent’s quarterbacks to shine against them.

Those quarterbacks have collectively averaged a 75.5% completion percentage against Philadelphia’s defense, which means they are rarely are missing their targets. Do not discount the Eagles’ offense though, as, in their last six games, the team has averaged 27.1 points per game.

Philadelphia will try to continue to build on the momentum of what’s become an impressive rushing attack to control the clock and move the ball down the field, but Denver’s defense will be a tough group to run through (or throw on).

The Broncos rushing defense is ranked 10th in the league heading into Week 10 having only given up 885 yards. If the running goes stale in this game, then it will be all on the shoulders of Jalen Hurts to win this game with his arm. He’s improving, and it could absolutely happen.
