The Philadelphia Eagles will need Jalen Hurts’ best game to date.

Jalen Hurts is averaging 162.8 yards passing over the course of the last five games. He’ll need more than that in Week 10, but the argument can also be made that the Philadelphia Eagles don’t want to go back to the days where the pressure was solely on his shoulders to manufacture offense, especially seeing as how that didn’t lead to wins.

Over the last few games, this offense has become more balanced with the rushing attack helping to shoulder the load, and that has helped Hurts make better decisions and find his targets, but running alone won’t beat the Broncos, so yes, Philly may need 200 yards or more in the air to sustain drives.

Hurts is also the Eagles leading rusher with 494 rushing yards through nine games. Another 50 to 75 or so in this one would be ideal. If the Eagles rely more on the passing attack in this game, it would likely be because they would be down a few scores and trying to catch up.

Even though it would seem that throwing the ball is a recipe for disaster versus the Broncos’ defense, the Birds have to try. The Eagles will most certainly need balance to come out on top in this one.
