Bold predictions for the Philadelphia Eagles on offense

Jalen Hurts accounts for two total touchdowns.

The passing grades should continue for QB1 after this one wraps. You saw the confidence in the first start of his career. As mentioned earlier, that game was also against this Saints team.

The Eagles jumped out early and held on late, but the Birds are a different team now. Philadelphia has found an identity, one that centers around running the football.

Expect a heavy dose of the Birds’ ground game, and that will get Hurts comfortable throwing and running the football. In the end, he’ll account for two scores with his arm, or his legs, or both.

Miles Sanders WILL start and score a touchdown.

According to Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni, Miles Sanders‘ status remains a mystery. We think he’ll play though, and we believe he’ll play well.

He may not break the big run as he did in 2020, but he should reach the end zone at least once. That should silence the doubters some who have seemingly added to their ranks during the first part of the 2021 season.

If you’re among the contingent that falls in that category, hang in there. You’ll be reminded of how good this guy is very soon.

Update: Step one is complete. The Eagles announced at 4 p.m. EST that they will indeed elevate Sanders from the injured reserve to the active roster. C/G Jack Anderson is now on the IR.
