Bold predictions for the Philadelphia Eagles on offense

The up-and-down efforts of the Eagles’ offense continue. Fortunately, the pendulum swings back in Philly’s favor for this one thanks to a nice showing by its offense (we hope). Here are two bold predictions by the offense.

1. Jalen Hurts throws for 175 yards and runs for 50 more.

There’s no nice way to say this. QB1 stunk it up versus a bad football team, and that ‘Philadelphia had a chance to win late despite playing poorly’ argument needs to be put to rest forever. Only against a bottom-feeder can a team turn the ball over four times and have a chance to win late. Only against a bottom feeder does Philly get the ball back late with a chance to pull one out of the fire.

If you’re sick of being stressed out by this Eagles team, Week 13 and the bye week that follows will give you a much-needed reprieve. In Week 14, the Birds will do what they should have done last week, beat up on a lesser team thanks, in part, to a refocused Jalen Hurts looking to prove that Week 12 wasn’t representative of who he is.
We’re calling for 175 yards passing and 50 rushing yards in this one.

2. Eagles rush for 200 yards again en route to 400 yards of total offense.

The Jets, an already awful football team is in danger of entering its next game without Quincy Williams, Sheldon Rankins, and John Franklin-Myers. The Eagles will have to prove that they can throw the ball at some point. Fortunately, that won’t be the case this week.
