There are options if the Eagles look for Jalen Reagor’s replacement in 2022.

If NFL teams determined the order of their depth charts in the same manner that we put our representatives into political office, we’d be talking about how far Jalen Reagor‘s approval rating has fallen since the Philadelphia Eagles erroneously made him the 21st-overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft.

The mudslinging has been constant for the majority of the time he’s been here. It’s only gotten worse as we’ve moved through this season.

We thought we had something. Tweets from all over Eagles Nation belted out the words ‘Reagor Bomb’ as Carson Wentz found him for a long completion in Philadelphia’s season opener a year ago, but that was a mirage. Jalen Reagor was never going to be as good as that moment made him look, so here we are.

He’s given nothing to the Eagles on offense with any consistency. He doesn’t run routes well. He can’t catch, and the argument can be made that he’s like a self-destruct button on special teams.

Reagor, as mentioned, was a first-round draft choice. The possibility of him leaving the Eagles in 2022 is a slim one, but if Philadelphia is looking to push him, there will be options in the free-agency pool come next year’s offseason. Here are four free agents that can not only do that. They are completely capable of replacing him in the starting lineup.
