Philadelphia Eagles 2022 NFL Draft prospects: Aidan Hutchinson

It’s been the dream season for the Michigan Wolverines, and for the first time in the program’s history, they’re seeded in the College Football Playoff with a chance to hoist the trophy. Defensive standout Aidan Hutchinson is a huge reason for that being the case following another phenomenal season in which he tallied 58 total tackles, 13 sacks, three pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in 12 regular-season games and Michigan’s dominant performance in the most recent Big Ten Championship Game.

Once the title game wrapped, the six-foot-six, 265-pound First-team All-Big Ten nod was also the owner of the 2021 Big Ten Football Championship Game MVP Trophy, the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year Award, and the Big Ten Defensive Lineman of the Year Award.

Take a poll, and you won’t find an Eagles fan who is opposed to having this young man join the roster in 2022. The question is, as his stock continues to rise, there’s a possibility that he won’t be available when Philadelphia is on the clock to make the first of those three first-round draft choices.

If he is available, he’s as close to being as solid a draft choice as possible.
