Jalen Hurts final grades for Week 15 versus Washington

Naturally, we can’t discuss great throws by Jalen Hurts without bringing up his touchdown pass to Greg Ward. That, like so many of his other throws, was a nice-looking toss.

Here’s another look.

We wanted to see how Hurts would bounce back. It appears he’s done so about as satisfactory as one could.

We’ve gone back and forth about the inconsistencies with his deep-ball accuracy and how his completion percentage drops when throws are further down the field. Philly didn’t take a ton of shots, but the most memorable, the aforementioned rainbow to Goedert and the sideline throw that led to an amazing toe-tap by DeVonta Smith, were pretty doggone impressive.

Sure, there was the fumble and a fluke interception but Hurts weathered the storm and again showed his mental toughness. The result was another checkmark in the win column. The Eagles are .500 on the season. Three games remain. The postseason is a real possibility.

Thanks to a strong showing by QB1, this team has a lot to build on as they move forward. That ankle appears to be doing just fine.

Trending. Week 15 studs and duds (and 2 question marks). light
