Does the Eagles legend have one more run left in him?

2022 status: Unrestricted free agent

Did you see Jason Kelce sprint out ahead of Miles Sanders on that running play in Week 15? There isn’t an Eagles fan walking that doesn’t know what we’re discussing. We mentioned what’s been an annual exercise in cap management earlier. That won’t be an issue in 2022.

Philadelphia has draft picks. They’ll have money to spend. Regardless of what they intend to do with that money, one thing has to be on their mind. What are Jason Kelce’s plans for next season?

If he chooses to return, he should be allowed to. He’s still one of the best players on his team, but 11 years is a long time to do anything. Jason Kelce is truly one of the game’s iron men, but even a career as brilliant as his has been has to come to an end at some point.

It’s been common knowledge that every year (at least recently), Kelce has pondered whether or not it’s time to hang the cleats up for good. That’s okay though. He’s anchored the offensive line since 2011, and after earning three First-team All-Pro nods (2017–2019) and five trips to the Pro Bowl (2014, 2016, 2019–2021), he’s earned the right to take some extra time to make his mind up.

The Kelce watch is on as it always is. Once we reach March, everyone will be watching the Eagles’ Twiter account to see if 62 is back or not.
