Week 17 bold predictions for the Philadelphia Eagles on offense

There’s a buzz building that states, even though the Philadelphia Eagles have experienced some long droughts on offense this season, they can end things on a high note.

Sure, football’s a team game and it’s fun to see all 11 guys contribute, but even though this offense’s chances of shattering the franchise record for rushing yards in a single season are high, we may also see DeVonta Smith etch his name in the record books as well.

91 yards will move him ahead of DeSean Jackson for the team’s record for receiving yards by a rookie. We predict he’ll take the record in Week 17. That’s one bold prediction. Here are two more.

The Philadelphia Eagles will amass 400 yards of total offense en route to a four-touchdown performance.

Washington was rocked by the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16. Five days before that, the Eagles racked up 238 rushing yards.

It’s hard to imagine that Washington has been able to correct all of these defensive issues this quickly. We believe that they haven’t. Expect a big performance from the Eagles’ offense.

Jalen Hurts throws two touchdown passes. The Eagles run for two more.

The next steps this Eagles offense needs to take involve consistency and balance. They can’t rely on Jalen Hurts. They can’t completely rely on the running game if they want to be a premier NFL offense. facing a reeling Washington team will give them some target practice.
