Eagles running back Boston Scott, ‘The Giant Killer’

How can you not love a guy that’s five-foot-six and 203 pounds but plays the game like he and Derrick Henry share the same body type? It’s been established. Well maybe it hasn’t, but if somebody were to tell us this, we’d believe it.

When Boston Scott walks into the bathroom and stands on whatever he stands on so he’s tall enough to look into the mirror, he doesn’t see what he truly looks like. He sees a reflection of Eddie George.

Boston Scott has never been booed by the Eagles fans at Lincoln Financial Field. Why? It’s simple.

He doesn’t play the game like a five-year veteran that just signed a massive deal and is giving just enough effort so he doesn’t get hurt. Boston Scott plays the game like his life depends on every carry… because it does.

Once he ran wild versus the New York Giants in 2019’s regular-season finale to the tune of 54 yards rushing and three touchdowns (and another 84 yards on four receptions), it was immediately known that Eagles fans will remember him forever. Ever since that day, he’s added to his legend as one of the hardest-working Birds we’ve seen in a while. That’s only added to his legend as the ‘Giants Killer’.
